This is the moment when tension rises.

You open the chat and see:

HELLO?

No context, no information. Now only a crystal ball can help guess what it's about.

Here's how to do it better

"Hello, would you like to have coffee with me today?"
Perfect! Clear question, clear context - a clear answer is possible.
"Hey, I need help repairing the car - do you have time?"
Excellent! I know what's needed and can respond accordingly.
"Hello, can you review the code for me? Here's the link: [...]"
Amazing! Context, concrete request, even a link. That's how it's done!

Why this site exists

Everyone around the world knows coffee or tea for breakfast. Since chats have existed, everyone has also come across these classics: Hello. Hey. ??

If you're lucky, there's even a "Good day" thrown in. And then? Silence. No context. No question. No request.

There's only one thing to do: either close the window or ask directly: What do you need? How can I help? Do you have a problem?

And honestly: sometimes I think someone just wants contact but doesn't know what to say. That's fine in private. But at work? Time, structure, and efficiency matter.

If I add up how much time per day is lost through "empty greetings," I could easily leave work an hour earlier – without anything being left undone.

That's why this site exists. Not as an attack, but as a little reminder of how valuable communication can be – when it gets straight to the point.
